5th Annual Domestic Violence Summit

Raphael House brought together community partners for a day of awareness and outreach featuring local leaders, activists and live music. This year’s speakers included Chair Ted Wheeler, Commissioner Dan Saltzman and Representative Chip Shields, amongst other leaders and survivors of violence.

10th Annual Golf Tournament

Golfers and supporters hit the greens for Raphael House at the 10th Annual High Hopes Charities GOLF for HOPE Tournament August 9-10 at Langdon Farms Golf Club in Aurora, Oregon. If you missed this great event this year, check the Golf for Hope website for updates on the 2010 tournament!

2009 Advocate for Change Event

Friends and supporters gathered at the beautiful Lawrence Gallery for conversation, wine and light hors d’oeuvres as we honored Commissioner Dan Saltzman with the 2009 Advocate for Change Award.
Commissioner Saltzman has served local families for more than a decade, creating and championing programs that work to prevent child abuse and family violence.

Strawberry Shortcake Days

May 9th and 10th
If you visited your local New Seasons Market on Mother’s Day Weekend, you may have been lucky enough to taste the delicious strawberry shortcake being sold outside. Every year local Soroptimist groups volunteer to serve up shortcakes donated by New Seasons - all proceeds go to local domestic violence programs. Thank you to New Seasons and to all the wonderful volunteers who made this event such a success!
