Holiday Season Support
November - December | 2015
Donate, Volunteer and Get Involved!
Many ways to help us:
There are many ways to support Raphael House of Portland this holiday season! With your help, we can foster a bright and hopeful time for families, while also raising vital funds to ensure our life-saving programs are available year round.
1. Host a Holiday Drive
Each December, we invite more than 115 of the families we’ve served to pick-out presents for themselves and their children. These items are 100% donated, so your support is essential!
You can help by collecting new, unwrapped items for adults, teens and children, including: coats and warm accessories, shoes, baby items, hygiene and beauty products, household and kitchen items, toys, general supplies, and gift cards.

2. Donate via the Give!Guide
We’re so honored to be included in the Willamette Week Give!Guide again this year! Our goal is to raise $35,000 by December 31st, just $3,000 more than last season and enough to provide 350 total safe nights in our shelter.
Click here and make your gift now!
→ Double the impact of your donation! Our friends at 100 Women Who Care Portland and Korena Loves will match gifts of $100 to Raphael House, up to $2,800.
→ Gifts from donors ages 35 & under can help Raphael House win an extra $1,000, if we get the most in our category. With your support, we won last year!
3. Support Community Promotions
Purchase a Benefit Bracelet
Our friends at Korena Loves will donate 100% of proceeds from sales of their Raphael House of Portland Benefit Cuff inscribed with this empowering quote: “The greatest journeys begin with a single step.” Purchase yours for just $25 via the Korena Loves Etsy store.
4. Make a gift online!
More than 80¢ of every dollar contributed goes directly to programs, including our emergency domestic violence shelter and housing program!
Use our secure online system and consider all the ways your donation can impact families.
5. Volunteer with our Holiday Program
Interested in donating your time to support our annual Holiday Program? We’ll need help setting up our space beforehand (December 1-4 and 7-8), sorting and accepting items at our Donation Drop-off events (December 9, 10 and 17), in our Holiday “Store” (December 12 – 15 from 9am – 5:30pm), and packing up at the end of the program (December 16-18).
