Get Involved | Restaurants for Raphael House
Since 2010, local restaurants have been showing their support for survivors of domestic violence by participating in our annual fundraiser Restaurants for Raphael House.
On the event date, participating businesses donate at least 15% of their proceeds to support our life-saving services. Every $100 raised provides one safe night for a survivor or their child in our emergency shelter.
We hope you will join other generous businesses and partner with us on Wednesday, May 17th for our eighth annual event!
Our restaurant partners are very important to us, and we provide a great deal of support to ensure this event is mutually beneficial. Raphael House of Portland provides:
— Promotional materials, including posters, menu inserts, flyers, and table tents.
— A website referral list of participating restaurants.
— Publicity about the event to widely promote your restaurant’s involvement and recruit potential diners using promotional emails, social media, local media outlets, and via our community partnerships.
— Periodic communications with you about the event.
What we ask of our Restaurants for Raphael House partners:
— Contribution of at least 15% of profits from Wednesday, May 17th, 2017 (payment due by 6/17/17)
— Use of restaurant name and logo in promotion of the event.
— In-restaurant promotion of the event using provided materials, including poster and bookmark-sized flier given with menu.
— Promotion of event via social media starting 2 weeks prior to the event.
— Information about event shared with staff and managers, so they can answer basic questions.
