Sponsorship and Corporate Support

We are proud to work with incredible corporate and community partners who share our commitment to building a future without domestic violence! Each year, gifts from businesses help fund a substantial portion of our emergency shelter and supportive programs – helping survivors find the safety, hope, and independence they deserve.

Your gifts truly make a difference, and there are many ways to get involved. Contact Amanda Ives, Development Director, at (503) 243-5116 to learn more.

Annual Gala

Join us for our annual special celebration of hope, safety, and stories of strength on September 26, 2024 at the Hyatt Regency Portland!

Enjoy cocktails and mocktails, live music, gourmet dinner, and an exciting auction. Hear the powerful voices of survivors who have overcome the unthinkable and built beautiful lives after abuse. And support our life-saving services, as we work to build a future without violence and oppression.

Have questions about sponsoring, becoming a table host, or supporting our annual Gala? Contact Amanda Ives, Development Director, at (503) 243-5116.

Host a Holiday Drive

Each December, we invite more than 195 of the families we’ve served to pick out presents for themselves and their children. These items are 100% donated, so community support is essential and helps bring joy and hope during the holiday season!

Organizing a Holiday Drive with coworkers or groups is a great way to make a difference, and we provide everything you need to make giving back easy. Request a Wish-List or a Giving Tree Kit with handmade ornaments featuring a recipient’s age, name, and gift request.

Contact Amanda Ives, Development Director, at (503) 243-5116 to get involved!

Corporate Volunteer Groups

Our volunteers provide invaluable support to our programs, participants, and staff. Group volunteer opportunities are available throughout the year.  Contact Morgan Evans, Volunteer Coordinator, at (503) 720-6337 to learn more about volunteering.

other ways to get involved

There are many options for supporting Raphael House and our life-saving domestic violence programs through your workplace or organization.

Workplace giving and matching gifts

Support Raphael House of Portland through your workplace giving program — it’s easy to make a tax-deductible donation through automatic payroll deductions, an online giving portal, or giving campaign. Many businesses also match donations, doubling or even tripling the impact of your gift!

Contact your HR department or company leadership to learn if your employer offers workplace giving or gift matching.

Foundation Support

If your company has a foundation with a giving focus in line with Raphael House’s mission, we would welcome the opportunity to submit a grant proposal. Contact Adam Salazar, Grants Manager, at (503) 243-5158 to discuss how we can work together on building a future without domestic violence.

Training and education opportunities

Raphael House of Portland has offered expert training throughout the community for more than 12 years. We provide customizable workshops covering a range of topics including creating safe and inclusive environments for staff and patrons, and addressing ways that service providers, supervisors, coworkers, and employees who interact with the public can recognize signs of domestic violence and respond effectively.
